Two extremely unique beers coming your way. And a few more exciting happenings for Saturday, March 31st...
Temptation of Adam:
A wild idea led to this fun cider experiment. We filled red wine barrels with 35% unfiltered apple cider and topped them up with our blonde sour. After extended aging in barrels the beer was refermented on freshly crushed Gala and Granny Smith apples. Sweet dried apples dominate the aroma with notes of wildflowers and mild funk in the background.
Rye I Oughta:
Pours an opaque, dark mulberry and immediately overwhelms the nose with fruit, oak, and fine red wine. If you take your time with this beer you can pick out specific notes of strawberry, merlot grape, dried cherries, red apple, and unripened apricot. All these wonderful smells are cradled by a thick rye maltiness that make this ale as peppy as a 19th Century bare-knuckle boxer.
